I'm Vera, and this is where I'll share news about my books — starting with CLANG!, the first Phoenix Forge novel.

Here's the premise:

Vorpal swords gotta come from somewhere.

Meet Fen. Seventy-five-year-old dwarven smith. Snarky, brutally honest, secretly the kindest person in the room. She runs Phoenix Forge, making magical gear for adventurers — and dealing with nightmare clients, mages who think enchantment matters more than metal, temple committees designing weapons by bureaucracy, and heroes who want greatswords but have the shoulders of a scribe.

She takes on the apprentices nobody else would. Sees people others don't. Found family accumulates around her forge whether she planned it or not.
